First of all hope everyone is enjoyed their holidays
Enjoy the quiet time to reflect on 2008 and spend with your family because in a couple of weeks Extensive Enterprise will be kicking off it's 10th anniversary by festivities with Montreal's own the Plasmarifle on January 23rd at the Underworld.
The band will be embarking on their first North American tour supporting Despised Icon on the Montreal Assault tour.
Come give the boys a nice send off and pick up a shirt or cd while you are at it!
A couple of days later we have Funeral For A Friend with the Sleeping (featuring ex-members of Skycamefalling for all the old heads out there),up and comers Emarosa and Long Island's own This Is Hell (a personal favorite of mine!) over at the Tulipe on January 27th
Tickets for both events are available at Underworld,Soundcentral and through the admission networks.
now with the shameless plugs out of the way i would like to thank every that supported Extensive this past year...It was an unbelieveable year that saw us grow beyond our wildest expectations and we have all the kids that come out to our shows,the bands from home and abroad that performed for us, the staff of Lambi,Club Soda,Underworld,Foufounes and Katacombes, the people at Kenmore and TKO and so many more...whos names i can't think of right now to that made it happen.
And if you thought last year was something you haven't seen anything yet.

Hello!
Tonight, come to ION Dissonance at the new Underworld venue, we have a great show planned for you. The event is a collaboration of Extensive and POP Montreal festival and to show our spirit all the bands are representing your favorite area code of 514.

Important News
By now most of you have hear the unfortunate news regarding Bury Your Dead's involvement in a serious van accident outside of Ottawa yesterday.
Obviously BYD will not be appearing this Saturday but all the other bands that were scheduled to perform will be.
Ticket price will still be the same as previously advertised and full refunds will be offered.
please note a portion of the proceeds from Saturday's show will be going to BYD to help them in their time of need and the band merchandise will also be onsale as well...so bring a little extra cash if you can.

Back To School Bash
Hey Guys another hot show for you guys... Enjoy!
Now that vacation is over and all is going back to school or work, yes I know the feeling of having to back is brutal. Well here at Extensive we have shows lined up so you can forget the pain and the horrors till your Christmas break.
So to start the year right we bring you Bury your Dead (September 27th) in an evening of onslaught and enough break downs to make your pants rip off.

Dtox band War winners
Every one here at Extensive would like to thank all the winners of the band war and all the contestants. Now that we got over the pre-finals rounds I will like to announce to you all the winners:

We will confirm the date for the finals shortly. This is going to an intensive competition we don’t know how it will finish. Last but not least I would like to say thank you to all our sponsors that helped and encouraged all the local talent we have in Montreal and are doing there part to help support independent music.
The pictures will we be up shortly but I’m having issues with my flash program. Anyone that would like me to email the pictures to then please feel free to send me an email at
